Angela is starting her second year as a postdoctoral associate at the University of Calgary. She received her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado Denver in April of 2025. Her research focus on circuits (also called elementary vectors) of polyhedra and combinatorial optimization. She is interested in expanding further into the world of optimization and machine learning with a focus on real-world problem and social impacts.
If she isn’t busy working on some fun math problems, you can find her rollerblading, tearing up a karaoke bar, or attempting to finish one of the many video games she is struggling to complete.
