Avner is completing his PhD in Mathematics at the University of Regina, specializing in quantum information, operator algebras, and functional analysis. His research investigates the dynamics and structural properties of quantum channels, with a focus on connecting abstract theory to computational practice through numerical experiments based on semidefinite programming.

With strong technical expertise in mathematical optimization, numerical analysis, and statistical modelling, his work regularly connects complex theoretical questions with applied practice. Drawing on experience across a broader range of programming environments, he currently builds and analyzes computational models in Python, R, and MATLAB, integrating rigorous mathematics with modern computational tools.
