Hamid is a first-year M.Sc. student in Mathematics at the University of Calgary. His primary line of research is Machine Learning and Deep Learning applications in genomics and transcriptomics. Before joining the UoC, he was a volunteer research assistant at the Texas Biomedical Research Institute, remotely working on different research projects in collaboration with the University of New South Wales.
