Ian is the Technology Manager at the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences, where he is responsible for the technical and computing aspects of the PIMS operations. He is also part of the technical leadership for the syzygy and callysto projects which have deployed JupyterHub to tens of thousands of students across Canada. He has a background in high energy physics and high performance computing.
